SOLAR - DEEWR's spatial tools for Social Inclusion policies & programmes

SOLAR (Spatial Online Analysis and Reporting) is DEEWR's tool for accessing, analysing and visualising spatially enabled Social Inclusion resources.

SOLAR lite is the first (consolidation) phase and was deployed to all desktops in the DEEWR Intranet in February 2009.

SOLAR lite:

  • provides web-based mapping of relevant data bases
  • has a built-in time-series of core statistics
  • enables users to print custom maps and download data
  • has access to pre-compiled maps and reports.
